A lot of my creative process revolves around preserving the energy and mood of a particular moment in your life. My goal is to show the beauty of a day as it naturally unfolds. The laughter. The chaos. The happy tears. The awkward dance moves. And all the little moments in between.
Love Stories
Sometimes I have to get a little creative to capture real emotions. I might ask you to stare at each other until one of you laughs. I might make you run, dance, or try a pose that feels a little ridiculous.
I’ll play your favorite music. Or I might throw on a salsa song and see what happens. P.S. I love Bad Bunny, so don’t be surprised if he makes an appearance.
Years from now, you’ll look back and say, “Wow, our photographer really made us do that?” Then laugh and add, “Honestly, that was kind of embarrassing… but it was fun. I’m glad we did it.”
Because the best photos aren’t about perfect poses. They’re about capturing the laughter, chemistry, and little moments that make your story yours.

There’s something magical about a wedding day. The people, the laughter, the happy tears, the chaos that become lifelong memories.
I'll to document your day as it unfolds; everything in between.
I’ll be your biggest supporter when it matters most. I'll cheer you up! Make you awkardly laugh. From the first deep breath before the ceremony to the last song of the night, I’m there to tell your story in a way that feels honest, joyful, and uniquely yours.

Families
Family sessions are beautifully unpredictable, and honestly, that’s what makes them fun.
Kids will be kids, so I let them be kids. If they want to run around, we’ll run around. If they get shy, we’ll take our time. And if they cry, I’ll be there to capture the way you comfort them, because that’s part of your story too.
I want to capture more than just what everyone looked like that day. I want to preserve the innocence, the personalities, the laughter, the bear hugs, and all the little moments that make this season of life uniquely yours.
So don’t worry about having the perfect kids or the perfect pose. Just show up, be yourselves, and let me take care of the rest.

Parties
Parties… perhaps one of my favorites.
As an introverted photographer, parties are one of those events that push me out of my shell, but they’re also some of the most fun.
Sometimes I’m a fly on the wall. Other times, I’m right there in the middle of the action. Like a chameleon, I adapt to the vibe of the night.
I want to capture the laughter, the dance floor chaos, the questionable decisions, the best friends, and the people who matter most.
Because years from now, when everyone is a little older and life has taken everyone in different directions, you’ll look back at these photos and say,
“Wow… that was a fun night.”
“I’ve been rocking with Ron since 2017.”

Venues
A venue is more than just a place. It’s part of the story.
I'll the atmosphere, not change it. The moody candlelight, the warm glow of sunset, and the energy that fills the room once the celebration begins.
I use flash when it makes sense, but when the light is already doing something beautiful, I prefer to let it speak for itself.
Years from now, I don’t want you to just see the venue. I want you to remember the feeling of being there.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Kids will be kids, and I want them to be. If they want to run around, we’ll run around. If they get shy, we’ll take our time. Some of my favorite photos happen in the in-between moments because that’s where real personalities shine.

Most people feel awkward for the first few minutes. That’s why I focus less on posing and more on creating moments. We might walk, dance, play a game, tell stories, or just hang out. Before long, you’ll forget the camera is even there.
Can you help us choose a location?
Absolutely.
Whether you’re dreaming of a beach session, a quiet field at sunset, a downtown adventure, or your favorite local coffee shop, I’m happy to help find a location that fits your story and personality.
Do you travel?
Yes!
I’m based in Virginia, but I’m always up for an adventure. Whether your story takes us across town or across state lines, let’s chat.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
For most portrait sessions, galleries are delivered within 2-3 weeks.
For weddings and larger events, delivery is typically 6-8 weeks. You’ll also receive sneak peeks shortly after your session because I know waiting is hard.
What should we wear?
Wear something that feels like you.
Neutrals and earth tones photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you’re comfortable and confident. Once you’re booked, I’ll send over a style guide with tips and ideas.
Do you photoshop people?
I remove temporary distractions like blemishes, bruises, or background distractions.
I don’t believe in changing who you are. The goal is for you to look like the best version of yourself, not a completely different person.
What happens after I inquire?
We’ll chat about your vision, date, location, and all the little details that make your story unique.
If we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a proposal, contract, and invoice to officially reserve your date. Then the fun begins.
What if things don’t go according to plan?
Good.
Some of the best moments happen when they don’t.
The wind picks up. A flower girl wanders off. Someone bursts out laughing during a serious moment. Kids get grass stains. The timeline runs a little late.
That’s life.
And sometimes those are the moments you’ll treasure the most years from now.
